After graduating from the University of Southern California’s Popular Music Program, Skyler acted as a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and/or engineer for various LA-based bands and artists, touring extensively from 2016 through the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. During the pandemic, with his newfound free time, he pivoted his focus into audio engineering and production, becoming certified in Pro Tools and working as an assistant and first engineer at Paramount Recording Studios. Now, he splits his time between sessions at Paramount, teaching music at the California School of the Arts in San Gabriel, and recording bands of all genres and backgrounds at the Lily Pad. He can’t wait to make you sound great!
